ISLAM & HOW ISLAM IS USING TO PROGRESSIVE LEFT VIA SOCIALISM TO PROJECT THEIR CAUSE—THROW IN THE BARBARY PIRATES

                                                This is a serious agenda item for the progressive left, but I would contend it is more for the benefit of Islam.  Muhamed was a warfighter, fighting in 66 battles and/or raids, he would raid caravans and then went to the Mediterranean to attack ships.  He would raid the coast of Spain, Italy, and France and take slaves into North Africa.  His movement enslaved over one million Europeans, so such a degree that the Catholic church had a conclave in the Trinitarians that were referred to as the “ransomers” to free people.  Islam enslaved African blacks.  Please note that Muhamed was viewed as a “white Arab” as in the Hadith he is referred to as a “white man reclining on a couch,” they saw “the whiteness of his armpits,” and another writes where he was riding on a donkey and rubbed up against another rider who say the “whiteness” of the prophet’s thigh.  Not to mention, Muhamed owned black slaves.

                                                Islam enslaved ten’s of millions of black slaves, castrated many, and pressed many into the sex trade.  In all of my studies I have not seen this in Christianity through Jesus.  Let’s fast forward to when the Muslim Turks spread the expanse of their empire where they captured  Christian towns in Albania and Romania and they would take the Christians, take their boys and make them their soldiers or worse as I saw with the “tea boys” in the Egyptian squads out in the desert.  Don’t kid yourself, I know what the “tea boy” was and had disdain for it.

                                                Let’s get back to the matter of Islam versus Christianity.  The Christian Europeans would pay an annual “tribute” to the Muslim pirates to leave their commercial ships and trade alone.  Even Sweden in the 1600’s paid, and get this, Muslim pirates raided Baltimore, Ireland, captured the entire town and sold them into slavery in Morocco.

                                                In 1625, the Pilgrims sent a ship with beaver pelts back to England and William Bradford wrote that even when the ship was in the English channel a Turkish Man-of-War captured it and took it to Morocco and sold the crew into slavery.  Again, true Christianity is a faith of freedom whereas Islam is slavery.

                                                Once America became independent of Britain (you notice how I no longer put the word “Great” in front of that), the Sultan in Morocco (the country that Obama was so fond of for recognizing America’s independence—classic Muslim idiot) told America that we were no longer covered under the British tribute culture and had to do our own.  “Taxes, tithes, offerings and ransom,” we were used to this fleecing in our Christian ethic.

                                                This is no different from the tax imposed by Iranian Shia or the Yemeni Houthi’s, just to navigate free trade and commerce waterways—Strait of Hormuz and the Strait of Bab al’Mandab connecting the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.  This is no different than me setting up a checkpoint on the public sidewalk in front of my house and charging a fee to walk down it…heck, I might as well with all of the trash the Indian Hills project people throw in my yard.

                                                Well, right after the American Revolution Thomas Jefferson is sent over as an ambassador.  All he asked was why they were taking cargo ships and selling our people into slavery.  The sultan made is simple in quoting the laws of the Quran.  Jefferson owned a Quran and he cracked the cover to help to understand the Muslim mindset of conquest.  The third day that Jefferson is President he receives a demand from the Pasha of Tripoli for an extortion tribute payment.  He then takes appropriate action and sends in the Marines.

                                                A few extreme examples, but do I think that all Muslims are extreme?  No.  Different, but not extreme as Muhamed and the Quran would teach.  The word Islam means submission to the will of Allah as we believe the word Christian means submission to Jesus and we all know that is not always the case.  Both faiths believe that there will be world peace but the big difference is in how each intends to attain that.

                                                   To the Muslim’s “world peace” is solely defined as “world Islam” or the global caliphate through domination.  Christianity does think in those terms as we believe that true peace and freedom only exist our personal relationship with God through accepting Jesus.  In my research I have found that moderate Muslims believe that the world will submit to Allah later, maybe at the end of the world, and for some the belief may be figurative.  These are some of my friends and we can have intelligent and insightful discussions.  The fundamentalists want the world to submit to Islam by any means necessary.

                                                The problem arises in Christianity and this weaker and kinder Western Culture when we show a dangerous tolerance and Islam views that as weakness.  They have ZERO respect for us and our ways.  This then is construed as an invitation to attack, close shipping lanes, and continue slavery across the Middle East as our so-called Christian nation won’t do anything about it.  Over the most recent decades the more we acquiesce they view it as us showing more of our necks to eventually get lopped off, and yes they are quite proficient at beheadings.

                                                After the initial conquests of Islam throughout the Mediterranean, when they would experience a major defeat like in the 1500’s, they would regroup, withdrawal and become moderate for a generation or two.  They would then do probing attacks and if they didn’t get slapped down, they took it as a sign to go on a full offensive. 

                                                 Another truth is that moderate Muslims enjoy being under the umbrella of western culture.  Women’s fashion, makeup, ability to attend school, and so many of our freedoms that do not exist under Sharia theocracies.  But we have to realize that Islam respects strength as it has been a part of their culture for centuries.  When the west is weak, it naturally pushes the moderates in the direction of a more fundamentalist Islam.  An interesting point to note is that a fundamental Muslim has no problem killing a moderate Muslim as they are perceived as having fallen away from Allah.

                                                Remember, Egypt, Lebanon, and even Syria were once Christian countries, and because of both Christian and Muslim moderates, they were taken over by force by the fundamentalists.

                                                Let’s look at Muhamed, born in 570 A.D., his father died before his birth, his mother died when he was six years old, he was orphaned and eventually was taken in by an uncle who was a merchant.  Muhamed hears about all of the different religions while on his travels with the merchant caravans.  Some of the cities he visited were Persian introducing him to Zoroastrianism which impressed him with the stories of the virgins in paradise.  Muhamed was influenced by a great number of beliefs to include his last one that drove him into a cave to seclude himself in prayer.

                                                According to Muhamed he has a spiritual visitor who asked him to read what was written and Muhamed admitted repeatedly that he could not read and was directed to recite the verses that he was thinking to memorize them.  Thus, the Quran came from reciting these verses given to Muhamed.

                                                Contrast this with Jesus who spoke and wrote both Aramaic and Hebrew and was taught and trained in reading the text.  Precisely literate, and so literate He was able to argue the text in synagogue at his first Passover at 12 years of age in Jerusalem.

                                                Muhamed goes back to his wife Khadija, his first convert to Islam and the first of eleven wives over his life span.  Khadija was 40 and he was 25, she a successful traveling merchant who was his employer.  Jesus stayed pure and unmarried his entire life.  Obviously two very different lifestyles, choices, and ethics in regard to virtue and morality.

                                                In 610 A.D. Muhamed goes into Mecca and he wants to teach.  He got confrontational and gets run out of town and nine years later his wife dies, what he referred to as his “year of sorrows” and he continues on into other cities where he pelted with rocks and stones.  In 622 A.D. he goes to a majority Jewish city of Medina and they allowed him to enter as the very first Muslim immigrant.  He is allowed to present his faith story, but was not accepted by the Jewish prophet tradition, but still allowed to stay.  He goes into the fringe minority neighborhoods and begins his teaching as he was not allowed in the synagogue.

                                                As his following grows, Muhamed becomes more political and pressures the Jews into a treaty of sorts.  Unlike Jesus isolating as a religious leader, Muhamed straddled both arenas for survivability of this new faith.  At this time, back in Mecca, his followers get confrontational and more of the Muslim faith pour into the Jewish community.

                                                In his teaching he allows his Muslim followers to rob the caravans headed to Mecca in retaliation.  Here is born the “victimhood” of what we culturally see today in the Muslim community.  Essentially, “they were mean to us” so it is justifiable to rob and kill them.  This is a very different theology from Jesus in regard to His words about if they take your coat, give them your shirt as well.  In this robbing process Muhamed says that he got a message from his Allah that he is to get one-fifth of the take in each robbery.  Even one of the verses he receives is that he even gets the slave girls from each caravan taken.  So he tells his men they can four wives and as many women as your right hand can possess.  They are considered “bond” women, concubines, and do not have the same status as a wife.

                                                In 624 A.D. the Meccans send 1,000 soldiers to protect their caravans and Muhamed, with 300, defeats them in the famous battle of Badr.  Now this amazing military victory convinces him to be a military leader.  Then in 627 A.D., the Meccans send 10,000 to attack Medina and Muhamed digs trenches all around the city to make the Meccan cavalry obsolete in the desert siege.  After this victory, Muhamed gets offended by one of the Jewish tribes, the others stay silent, and Muhamed, according to the Hadith, has another vision to take down the last Jewish tribe in Medina.  He surrounds the last tribe and takes them into the city, chops the men’s heads off and sells the women and children into slavery.  Gaza is just another replay of what Israel has always experienced. Within 5 years of Muhamed being welcomed into Medina, there is not a single Jewish tribe left—either killed or sold into slavery.  Yep, a “peaceful” religion.

                                                To analyze this properly, I see Islam as a three-step process: (1) Immigrate, (2) Increase, and (3) Eliminate.  First, hat we are seeing today in Europe and America is that they immigrate as a supposed religious refugee.  Islam then increases their numbers in the minority communities and prisons as well as having a lot more children than we do.  Then, get involved in the political process.  Then we see the random outbreaks of violence mainly with the young men and the disenfranchised youth who are moldable to their brand of victimology.  They then take over the entire neighborhood and city.

                                                Islam does this city by city, country by country, and there is a 1400-year track record of this history being repeated.  Being weak and tolerant does us no favors.  The spread of Islam is by the way of the sword or violence and immigration.  In Arabic, it is called “dawah” (دعوة) or proselytization and mission of calling people to Islam and because of our suicidal empathy we tolerate anything.

                                                Unlike today’s pastors who don’t actually teach the teachings of Jesus, the community Imam’s introduce all of the stringent details of the Quran separating them from our Western Culture.  And because it is in the Quran in lists kept by the Imam no one can ever question it like we do our own Bible from the pulpit as well as the pew.  In Islam they want to imitate Muhamed, in Christianity we are to imitate and emulate Jesus, the difference is we get a choice and there is no choice in Islam.

                                                If we look at this theologically, in our Christian Old Testament we had the law and the lamb.  There were all of these Levitical laws, but also all of these sacrifices for atonement.  For every law that was broken was a prescribed sacrifice to God.  Then once a year during Yom Kippur’s sacrifice spread on the mercy seat where the entire nation’s sins are absolved in the Jewish tradition.  In both Christianity and Judaism we are approaching God, not because we are good enough, but because we are trusting in His divine mercy.  Jews have faith in the Messiah to come, Christians have faith in the Messiah who came.

                                                There is no such theology in Islam.  It is simply a religion of do’s and don’t’s and the closer you can get to a life of Muhamed the better your chance of going to Paradise.  Even Muhamed said although he is a prophet of Allah, he still didn’t know what Allah would do with him.  Now, I have read the Quran and even the most brilliant linguists and scholars I discuss this with don’t even understand it.  There are verses in Mecca that are more peaceful to Jews and Christians referring to us as “people of the book.”  The verses scribed in Medina are more political and militant.  Interestingly, the later verses of the Quran supersede the earlier verses of the Quran.  Now let’s add the Hadith with 60,000 plus stories remembered about Muhamed from his wives and friends.  Then there are the 114 sura’s (or chapters or degrees (86 are Meccan and 28 are Medinan)) of the Quran containing 6,236 verses.  After this, there are 1,400 years of rulings broken into 4 different schools of thought that attempt to interpret the Quran.  Shia, Sunni, and really a host of others that actually fight over their brand of Islam’s truth.

                                                Let me put this into today’s context of Iran and Shia versus Sunni sects.  Muhamed had a daughter Fatima married to Ali and his followers are Shia making up 15% of the Muslim population—thus mainly modern day Iran.  Of course Muhamed had many wives and fathers-in-law, but the father of Aisha (Muhamed’s six-year-old wife and consummated at nine…hmmmm) was Abu Baqr who fought with Muhamed in his 66 battles, and he said “I know the way.”  “The way” in Arabic is “Sunni.”  There has been a blood feud between Shia and Sunni that continues to this day.

                                                It is believed by the Shia that the ancestor of Ali has been hiding in a cave for 1200 years and if the Ayatollah can create a world war, then this 12^thImam or Mahdi will come out of the cave as somewhat of a Messiah and destroy Israel and the “Big Satan” of America.  This will cause the one world government or “caliphate.”  Communist countries and others have nuclear arms and don’t use them, but Iran will to spur the 12^th Imam and world war.

                                                To make a point, when I served as the Lead Planning officer for all counter-terrorism around the world, we were doing the handover to the Iraqi special operations senior level military and introduced our mission set as #1 counter al Qaeda and #2 counter IRGC-Qods force (Shia).  They had no idea I spoke Arabic as I was sitting behind them (all Sunni) and they began talking about us having it backwards as the REAL threat was and always has been Shia-sponsored violence.
