MAJOR DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PARKVIEW TEACHING & DENOMINATIONAL TEACHING

AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE

Parkview teaches—Scripture John 17:17 “Your Word is Truth”

Denominations teach—the “church” only defines authentic interpretation.

This places dogma over Scripture that Scripture NEVER authorizes.

SALVATION

Parkview teaches Ephesian 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith…not be works.

Denominations teach—faith, plus sacraments, plus an ongoing merit system.

Again, this is counter to the Scripture in John 19:30 that salvation is completed by, through, & with Christ

MEDIATION

Parkview teaches I Timothy 2:5 “There is one mediator between God and men, that Man is Christ Jesus.”

Denominations teach—intercession with Mary, saints, icons, statues, etc..

Scripture NEVER commands prayer to anyone but Jesus and God.

CHURCH TRADITIONS

Parkview teaches nothing but the Scripture using Jesus’ words in Mark 7:13 “You nullify the Word of God with your traditions.”

Denominations teach—too many traditions to even list—pure dogma.
