THE CHRISTIAN ETHIC IS CORRECT, UNVARNISHED & SACRED TRUTH

Let’s kick this off with my stating that I am NEVER ashamed of Jesus and what He did for me, the words He spoke and speaks to me through the Scripture, and I will use every ounce of my study, intellect, energy, all measures of polemics to perpetuate my position as I have been called and commanded by God.  Perhaps other clergy are cowards in the pulpit, remember, they want that money, control, and power, or I am truly a geriatric barbarian as my wife enjoys taunting me, or a relic of yesteryear as I have heard so often.  I don’t care.  Let’s continue.

Although mainstream society and the media do not want to admit this, but this is a very strong truth.  It is part of our fabric and intrinsic to our psyche.  If we examine Christianity, whether from a philosophical or theological view, we see that there are seven sins and seven virtues.  There is a fight between pride and humility and wisdom; greed versus charity or generosity; lust versus chastity and self-control; envy versus kindness and fairness; gluttony versus temperance; wrath or anger versus patience and courage; and sloth or laziness versus diligence, faith and hope.  Pretty simple Biblically and philosophically for a well-ordered, virtuous society.  You must logically understand the exclusivity of true Christianity, you can’t believe that all religious edicts can coexist, as Christianity through Jesus is the ONLY way to God and our founders realized that.

As I look across the church as well as society I see these categories of people in every environment.  When I see someone who is ruled by sin and resentment, they are arrogant, easily offended, and always comparing themselves to others. They lack discipline, they lust after their appetites, they justify selfishness, and they readily use others for their benefit.

Counter this with the true Christian.  True Christians have discipline, are fair, have physical and moral courage, and are generous.  They control their impulses and regulate their emotions, they always are accountable and take responsibility, and never collapse when things in this life get difficult.

So, this premise begs the question, which of these types of people would you trust with your most guarded secret or your children?  Also, which one of these would you hire to work in your store or shop and run the cash register?  Really, which type of person would you want leading anything?  Yet, look at the leaders WE choose for political office and those in key positions in the church.

Sadly, we choose leaders who rationalize the slaughter of babies, which is truly the sacrifice of life as Satan’s eucharist…the whole “this is my body” is akin to spitting Jesus in the face and re-crucifying Him.  So-called Christians rationalize this for a lesser evil all the while meaning they accept evil in their lives, so how can they be called Christian?

I really don’t think anyone argues that wisdom, logic, and common sense require special protection from cancel culture and stigma.  Especially when someone has self-control, can govern their impulses and live with restraint in abiding by the constraints of a healthy life.  Everyone admires these attributes.  I have yet to see a screeching pink and purple-haired mob protesting generosity or kindness—but I am seeing more and more in progressive churches and even behind the pulpit.  It is an instinctive nature to respect it unless someone has a serious mental problem fraught in evil, sin, and despair.  The virtue meter of the church has fallen because of virtue signaling, false teaching, and moral relativism.

There is this crazy thought in the progressive left of society and the church that we ALL need to tolerate pride because it is considered “empowerment.”  This sinful nature tells us that envy is justice and that indulgence in any deviant behavior is authenticity.  The church has disregarded ALL the words of Jesus and most certainly is directly arguing against what Paul is arguing against in the false teachers and leaders—they have shifted the narrative from what is holy to what is wholly errant.

Herein lies the downward spiral—when you remove the social and theological cost of vice from government, society, and the church, you get more of it chipping away at the foundation that was once true and stable.  Likewise, when you honor virtue, you get more of that as well.  This is simple logical pattern recognition.  To maintain a culture of fair, moral, courageous, and kind people is a stable culture.  While a culture that honors promiscuity, violence, excess, envy, and normalizes resentment and victimology, has historically proven to be a failed endeavor for any culture.  Again, read your social anthropology, and history.

Christian ethics endure because it represents something, because it serves as an example of what God has already put in our nature—to execute out of that norm is torture and opposed to human nature but dark forces have conditioned the weak-minded and weak-willed to be blind to it.  Some behaviors make us stronger, others make us weaker.  Some actions corrode character while others strengthen it.  If we are ALL to be honest, we all can recognize the difference. The danger that we live in today is pretending that removal of the social cost of sin and vice has no impact.  Yet, we continue to normalize those things that degrade us—so, we get more of it.

Leo Tolstoy warned: “The wicked become even worse when they are tolerated.”  Our Christian nation and culture was formed on three distinct pillars.  With all of this hormonal and insane chaos we have going on, the noise is just getting worse.  If we study our history we see that we learned reason from the Greeks.  We learned how to think from the Romans and establish order.  Lastly, we learned from our Christian theology in Jerusalem what to value.  And quite frankly, the DSA and almost-Christians are taking a wrecking ball to it all.

In our original Greek tradition the “Agora” was a common meeting place of peers to discuss important issues of the day and it was all done in the open.  Today our Congress and Senate is performance art for grandstanding filled with the wealthy and their side deals.  Essentially, it has become Hollywood for the ugly and old.  Feelings override truth, emotional discourse over logic.  We have abandoned pure truth with some false narrative of “your truth versus my truth.”  Aristotle once wrote, “Nothing can both be and not be.”  Essentially a logical fallacy.  Once feelings outweigh facts, meaningful discussion becomes impossible.  Hence, the assassination of such a bright mind as Charlie Kirk.

In regard to Rome—citizenship was a vocation with privileges and responsibilities.  Today, our ruling class doles out privileges to those who take no responsibility for our nation.  As with Rome who established equal representation under the law is again getting pummeled by activist courts, judges, and hormonal progressive juries.  Justice is now selectively applied by skin color, money, gender, politics, and a host of other means that do not apply to the law.  A constitutional republic that adjudicates outside of the boundaries of equal application under the law is no longer a constitutional republic.

Lastly, let’s all admit it…the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus revolutionized the west’s understanding of sacrifice, dignity, morality, conscience, and the relationship between the person and political authority.  This was because government was designed to fall under a moral law that it did not construct.  Ground truth is that the individual is given a soul and freedoms that the government cannot seize.  Hollywood in both California and Washington D.C. produce nothing of any moral value and amazingly rewards culture that inverts morality and even the church accepts it as entertainment.

Christianity can now be mocked openly with absolutely no social cost.  If we openly do that with any 2nd or 3rd World faith or religion we will immediately be cancelled, called bigots, whatever-phobes, or worse.  Godspeed and good luck America as you destroy these three foundation pillars of western society.

Think about it, read, be curious.
