The State Replacing God

Politics and religion are uniquely connected as they both choose to use a philosophy as a foundation—one is divine & the other is manmade. What we are seeing grow in America as well as the church is alarming. This gnostic and hermetic thought process was first introduced formally by Karl Marx to the masses in his theories—he was fully immersed in it. He was able to wrap all this nicely with Hegel and what evolved was Theosophical Statism. And this is where we get our “COEXIST” bumper stickers that we see all of the time.
The goal of this is to live under this mystical religion that only pretends to be Christian, but it is made “statist.” The church has done it with denominations & dogma. This is where we get the quote from Hegel, “The state is the divine idea as it exists on earth.” From this statement comes the concept that the government is venerated and lifted up as an image of God, and the individual is not. Marx in his execution imported that very idea into the Communist Manifesto written with Engels. All of this is founded on a loose lie to divide Christianity in many ways. I would like to take this a step further & recognize the impact that German philosopher Max Horkheimger a charter member of Engel’s Frankfurt School of critical theory as applied to theology. His focus was on the Marxist dialectics that firmly divided religion from the state. The end goal was to negate religion entirely & understand the power & control that religion has on the masses and replace that power & control with the state.
Instead of the state altering its rudder, the church en masse decided to alter its steering more in compliance with the state rather than apostolic theology. As the church alters its value & principles to seemingly stay “current” with alternative lifestyles, trends in music, style of dress, etc., it allows for Satan to enter the church & displace what once was worship into performance art. For what? Money & power. Church has become a spectator sport rather than communal worship. Praise teams have become performers. Merchandise is sold in the church foyer. Pastors have become corporate executive story tellers instead of teachers of the word. Sadly, so very little Scripture is analyzed & cross-referenced on any given Sunday. I’m thinking Jesus would be flipping over a lot of tables & coffee stands.
In this socialism/communism state—and we have been creeping toward this for decades, the very nature of Jesus, or more precisely Yeshua, is being redefined to accommodate society & the state—the church has inverted the relationship to be more accommodating to political correctness. The church seems to only teach love & not repentance & conviction challenges that Jesus routinely introduced throughout all of His teachings. Yes, Jesus spoke about sin & hell. No one wants to feel guilt & shame on their day off—which is action of the Holy Spirit when Scripture is introduced—as that just takes away from money & power of the evangelical machine.
People are repeating the lie that Jesus was a socialist & a migrant. First, Jesus was voluntary & never a state-driven edict. Jesus is personal. Jesus upheld property rights & the famous “render under Caesar” teaching from Mark 12:17. The focus of Jesus's ministry was on the individual's heart and their relationship with God, rather than advocating for any modern economic theory. As for being “migrants,” Jesus, Mary, & Joseph NEVER left the political and geographic control of Rome—so no different than me wanting to leave Pritzker’s suffocating taxation and move to Missouri is akin to the family of Jesus wanting to move out of Herod’s immediate control but still within the rule of the Romans. People are so stupid it becomes infuriating. Let a group of celebrities & even pastors spew uneducated nonsense to the public & somehow that becomes fact? Come on, be curious!
