THOUGHTS ON DOUBLE THINK

As for total transparency, you ALL know I am a huge fan and believer of the Bible as well as a study of our Constitution that I know and love.  I am what I would consider a “constructionalist” it that I believe the founding fathers of our great republic wrote what the meant with little room for interpretation—a law-based society to protect the rights of all.  I also love the philosophy of so many authors but can easily point to the Scripture to back that thought.  As a Constitutional student and historian, I am a fan of the late great Justice Scalia and of course Clarence Thomas—going to re-read both of their many books this week.  But Orwell really fascinates me, as do his predecessors in Huxley who wrote “Brave New World” and Rand who wrote “Atlas Shrugged.” 

Based on these premises, I sincerely believe through extensive analysis that most people hold contradictory thoughts—I even catch myself doing this due to the media, social media, and people in general.  What they want to think or say—and—what they think is acceptable to think or say in society but they can never back it up in healthy debate and run away like cowards. People hold two separate beliefs and they readily accept both.  That seems asinine to me.  This is a dishonest willful act of cognitive dissonance demanded by a woke society.  When society fails to identify and call out contradictions it loses the capacity for critical thought and reason.  This occurs in all institutions—politics, religion, the media, etc., all for control and conformity.  For example, during COVID, society was directed to conform in the name of the freedom in “trust the science” absent of any debate.  This was the dumbest & most non-sensical thing I have ever experienced in my life.  Why didn’t the Chinese make non-working paper masks for my dogs?  Should I have maintained 6 feet from my pets?  Why did the screeching banshee call the police on me when I pulled my mask down in the post office or store just to talk?  I don’t get it.  It was all a farce for control. 

We have been presented with double think when we were told that “equality is discrimination” and “race doesn’t matter”—unless it is in hiring, court rulings, and school admissions.  Or, “justice is blind” but only when convenient.  Or, “celebrate diversity” unless you disagree.  Tolerance is actually intolerance in the quest of uplifting all or only some minority groups.  “Pregnant people” and “birthing person” are examples of double speak.  The phrase “colonizers” is a hoax for guilt and control of the ignorant masses.  Has anyone ever read about the Indian Wars here in America or what the Spaniards experience with with the Aztecs.  History is only convenient when it fits the narrative.  The history of the Bible is proven, tried, and true, not only historically, but in principle.

Words are banned while violence, riots, and property destruction are considered justifiable means of expression.  Double think is how power warps reality.  Sadly, Orwell’s warnings have become today’s reality.  When double speak “truth” becomes a tool of the powerful and contradiction becomes a virtue—TRUE FREEDOM DIES.  In double speak, “freedom” results in a thought that actually cancels itself in contradiction.

I ONLY find truth in my relationship with Christ, everything else is illogical, frankly quite silly, and dumb. I loathe stupid.
