BASIC & INTERESTING TRUTHS CONNECTED ACROSS THE SPECTRUM OF ALL FAITHS IN HISTORIC SACRED LITERATURE

       As you may know, one of my doctorates is in Literature with the second in Theology that fortunately meld themselves with historic Philosophy, Anthropology, all history, and all that are considered “sacred” texts from around the world.  I was always the kid who asked the question “why,” and now am the adult that does the same.  Every bit of research I do, every sermon I write, I always ask myself a series of “what” and “why” questions.

       Number one, why God?  This “why” question then leads me to a series of others.  Is He real?  For God to exist, he had to exist LONG before any of humanity, nature, or sacred text.  He is ground TRUTH of everything and no science can disprove that.  God is absolute TRUTH and certainly global and intergalactic. 

       Number two—having this understanding as I read the many sacred texts, there is a realization that suggests a universal truth—nothing was invented “locally.”  It is much like the physics of gravity that existed long before Sir Isaac Newton told us what it was and what to call it.  Interestingly, mathematics works the exact same way around the universe.  You see, absolute TRUTH does not change according to language, culture, social trends, or geography.  When humans attempt to explain TRUTH it becomes flawed and we generally mess it all up because of our biases and human experiences.  You see, TRUTH does not allow for tolerances outside of TRUTH—there is no ability to coexist there.  TRUTH does not wish to fracture, rather it is meant to awaken our innate nature imbued by our creator.  Humanity has buried the treasure trove of TRUTH throughout time seeking money, power, and control rather than acceptance of the beautiful TRUTH.

       I asked a third question—if TRUTH is real, it should show up everywhere across every religion and philosophy, correct?  I believe so.  I honestly believe we get lost in the opinions, translations, etymology, and individual vices—of course, all authored by the evil one Satan to reframe TRUTH to be some sort of perverse confusion.  As I pour through every tome I see that there is a description of the fundamental TRUTHS of reality.  This, in turn, directs me to believe that the greatest TRUTH has never been hidden at all from mankind—mankind just masks it.

       My fourth question is why is TRUTH hidden from so many?  My best formed answer is that mankind has tried to describe and define the utterly indescribable.  This is where the etymology gets interesting.  In using our human brain and human language, that seems to change on every click on the computer, we dumb everything down to the lowest common denominator or societal trend, thus making a complete mess of TRUTH.  Our human mind was never designed to grasp TRUTH either for our protection or only a need-to-know basis.  Language is a cage that we have constructed and govern, again, either through trends or the dictionary.  Language is too vast for full comprehension.  I believe that the God that I speak to is NOT the eternal God.  My TRUTH in regard to God has already been distorted through my own volition.  Jesus was quite clear when He told the disciples the “WHY.”  He spoke to them in parables when He said, “Though seeing, they do not see, through hearing, they do not hear or understand.”  They were not ready to comprehend the TRUTH directly.  Ahhhh, more questions.

       How can I accurately describe such an immense experience that is bigger than the thought itself using only a language built out of thought?  How can I ever possibly explain the mathematics of the oneness of galaxy when I can barely navigate covalent bonding in my native tongue?  My answer?  I can’t.  Like Jesus, I speak in metaphors, allegories, symbols, all to somehow paint a word picture of God.  Why can’t I explain it?  It is because God TRUTH is too vast to fit between the left and right lateral limits of my brain-housing-group.  There are simply no words to express the TRUTH I see in my wife.  If her love is so vast to me that I can’t use my big boy words, imagine explaining the God TRUTH.  Our myopic understanding of words and TRUTH debilitates us when we don’t read and research the very context of what we say we believe in the Sacred text. 

       I’ve come up in my feeble brain with certain universal truths.  The first is that we are not separate from God, we never were, and we never can be.  If I look at quantum physics, we are starting to discover that everything is one field only fragmented by perception.  When we isolate and fragment ourselves from God, WE, let me say that again, WE separate ourselves from God and foundational TRUTH.  We would rather defend our egos, our denominations, or political parties all for dogma absent of TRUTH. 

       I have concluded that fear is an illusion, and only God’s love is TRUTH.  My love for God, my service to Him, and my wife are the ONLY things that are real.  I genuinely stopped fearing and even caring about the unknown variable in selfish humanity long ago, but that is only when I stumbled upon TRUTH.  Jesus said, “Perfect love casts out all fear.”  Other texts concur with this “love over fear” philosophy.  The Buddha says, “Hatred does not cease by hatred.  By love alone hatred is healed.”  In the Bhagavad Gita it says, “The path of devotion, love, leads to liberation.  The path of ignorance, fear, leads to suffering.”  In the Tao Te Jing it says, “Courage comes from love, paralysis comes from fear.”  I understand fear, but my next question is what do I really love?  At what altar do I worship?

       I have come to realize that my mind and relationship with God/TRUTH is not a camera, rather, it is a projector.  What you think, you become.  If someone wants to be suicidal, violent, because some psychobabble told you that you have depression, ADHD, slight autism, or PTSD…then guess what?  That is what you become.  Why do you think Paul wrote about keeping our minds “stayed on God?”  Quantum physics now teaches us that observation changes the matter of behavior and physical particles.  The enemy is never the world, it is our ego and lack of total servitude to God/TRUTH.  Jesus was quite clear in His command for us to die to ourselves. 

Our egos are the story that we build to survive our self-manufactured fears and illusions.  Ego can only exist in a comparative state as a mask that truly separates us from God/TRUTH.  Our egos need three critical core parts: hierarchy, conflict, and recognition.  This is why so many screeching banshees never shut their mouths as their egos are nourished by ugliness and bad behavior, all self-diagnosed from a website test to qualify their trauma, victimology, and drama.  Ego is purely based on fear.  I’ve realized that I am merely a ripple and God/TRUTH are all of the bodies of water combined. 

My final TRUTH is that God/TRUTH has connected everything.  God made everything to be one system, connected, and mutually supporting for both good and evil.  Quantum physics tells us again that no particle is truly separate as every particle has some entanglement.  Sadly, fear exists by dishonest brokers through the use of money, control, and power.  Fear was initially a tool, then became a habit, then became a culture and social norm all orchestrated by Satan. Fear corrupts governments, entire societies, and yes, churches and religion.  Sadly, people try to fill themselves with every crazy thing other than God/TRUTH.  Society and the church has traded sincerity and TRUTH for emotional dopamine.

My last question to myself is a Christian, who am I?  Or am I more concerned with who do they think I am over what God/TRUTH thinks?  The non-stop news and social media feeds our cortisol and stress and we become more and more corpulent, dumber, and more isolated from our Creator.  Absent of a deep connection to God/TRUTH, we have allowed the noise to get louder than the signal.  My TRUTH is that I will never let down the standards commanded of me by Jesus Christ just to hold the interest and praise of people who want to go to Hell and still say they belong to a church.  Jesus tells me, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH (LOGOS), and the LIFE, NO ONE COMES to the FATHER (GOD) BUT BY ME.”  Sadly, in today’s uneducated nation and church, it seems as if what everyone is executing is “performative ignorance.”  Lastly, Friedrich Nietzche wrote: “All things are subject to interpretation.  Whichever interpretation prevails at a given time as a function of power and not the truth.”  Judge slowly and be careful what you believe.  Enough said.
