THE LOST ONES—OR SO-CALLED CHRISTIAN MEN

It is time for men to stand up and be solid Christian men in our nation.  I have a ton of what I call “lost boys”…driven by frustration, hate, fear, dogma, situation, politics, race, being force-fed feminism, whatever…they are driven by their own flaws and lack of guts for falling for the progressive feminist and progressive left religious agenda.  Its painful for me to watch and attempt in my best ways to advise and council.  If I look and analyze original sin this is one of my most complex dilemmas as a theologian to analyze but I also realize this concept of original sin is one of the greatest gifts to our theology and psychology.  It is not simplistically stated that all are bad, but the Scripture tells us in Romans 3:12—“No one does good, not even even one.” 

         Men have abandoned the helm of leadership all for the glorification and tolerance of moral relativism and sin.  If we look at the word “sin” in the Bible, the word is חֵטְא (chet or chait) meaning to miss the target.  Two other words are used, עָוֺן (avon) or a willful transgression of the law, and פֶּשַׁע (pesha) a transgression of rebellion.  Simply put this “miss” is not a permanent state and the focus is on repentance or teshuva and returning to the path.

         When I study this concept of original sin, I separate it simply in my logic as the difference between my emotional desires (pathos) and what I know to be right (logos).  Paul tells us in Romans 7:15 “For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do,” all part of the larger discourse in 7:14-25.  This shows the battle we are constantly in between the flesh (pathos) and the Godly spirit (logos). 

         Politically, I point us to the writings of Andrew Klaven, noted author and novelist who wrote: “once a social movement achieves its goals, it is taken over by the left, eventually pursuing the opposite of its original aims and accusing opponents of violating the original goals,” hence a struggle in perpetuity.

         The struggle internalizes into an implicit bias.  Our physical form is purely biased and tribal—Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, and the list goes on.  Instead of spiritually identifying as flawed Christians, we tend to identify as perfect whatever denomination.  The focus becomes the music, the TED talky pastor, or the denomination—when our focus should always be laserlike focus on Jesus and the cross.

         As Paul wrote in Ephesians 6:12, “We wrestle not against flesh and  blood…against the forces of evil (flesh) in the heavenly places (our spirits).  Let’s simplify, men want women, women want romance—both to renewed frequently for either party.  The interesting thing here is that there is NOT a single thing going on in our lives that God does not know or understand…He just wants us to repent, repent often, and quit missing the mark.  And guess what, because we feel shame, we should automatically and immediately go to God.  My concern is that we are entering into a society that feels no shame.  On the contrary, sin is given accolades and normalized.

CHRISTIAN MEN, REAL MEN ARE FAILING!

         I could very well, and statistically show that women and the feminist movement are disproportionately destroying the Christian church and our nation.  This has been purely enabled by weak men who want to maintain some assemblance of power and control in church, society, and government.  Remember, Jesus was NEVER weak, he was a leader.  Look through the Bible and it shows that every leader was a man.

         Now, don’t get me wrong, I am NOT attacking women as I adore my wife with reckless abandon.  Why because I love her for being a strong Christian woman and she loves me for being a strong Christian man.  My concern more accurately is for BOTH sexes.  Men are constantly attacked for excessive aggression (rightfully so), violence, sexual predation, etc., but we societally NEVER criticize women for their wrong-doings, sex-specific flaws, that are largely uncontained, uncontrolled, emotional explosions that cause more men to fail than anything.  Can anyone tell me any other job or role where a person can have everything paid for them, give protection, structure, housing, money, etc., with the severance pay of an ex-wife?

         Right now, who is driving the agenda of sexual mutilation, genital castration, and killing human lives in the womb more than women and feminized men?  Women therapists, women teachers, women surgeons, women clinical directors, women politicians, women judges…real men don’t drive this agenda.  So, I condemn men for not having a moral voice in the debate.

         This requires strong ethical, Christian men to stand in the breach without fear and be accountable.  What Christian men have to do is contain this toxic and suicidal empathy and femininity.  Outside of the true Christian household, we have lost that balance.  I guarantee that if we as Christian men don’t get it back, we WILL lose our nation.  How happy with your spa-wife be when she is wearing a burkha?  Like Nietzche say, we are staring into the abyss and it is staring right back at us as we linger like a bunch of weak sissies trepidatiously on the precipice. 

         All of the political divide we see is a symptom of a deeper Godless problem of failed Godly masculinity and inability of women to abide by Scripture.  Men have turned into sissies and women have become domineering shrews.  Do I fuss and fight with my wife?  Heck yes.  Is that a problem?  No.  Here’s the difference.  I married a highly intelligent and industrious Proverbs 31 woman—finally.  We love the intelligent debate and neither of us are afraid to acquiesce to a basic truth that one another presents, nor are either one of us afraid to buckle down and go toe-to-toe at the sound of the bell.  The thing is, our oath.  We swore before God that we would NEVER quit.  Heck, just today amidst a good donny-brook (NEVER anything physical or violent, just remarkable and creative words), I said, “Fine!  I’ll have divorce papers ready when you get back!”  Her response, “Shut up stupid!”  Obviously I used the “D” word as a feigned attempt to get a rise that hit short of the target.  Yep, we’re good.  Never ego, always seeking truth.

         In your Christian life…stop being a victim and be a victor!  Who cares what anyone thinks?  At the end of the day, that is between you and God…after all, He is the final judge.  Make wise logical decisions.
